• There have been 93 All-America selections in the 10-year history of the Big West Conference, with UC Irvine garnering the most selections with 26. Three players have received national honors four times in CSUN’s Marisa Young and the UC Irvine duo of Jessy Cardey and Danielle Warde. Of those 93 selections, Hawai’i owns both of the first team selections in league history in Monika Eggens (2013) and Irene Gonzalez (2018).
• Everyone seemed to want a piece of the first regular season title in Big West history. 2009 saw the first and only time a three-way tie occured for the regular season title. CSUN, UC Irvine and UC Davis all tied for the crown with 4-1 records. Tiebreakers gave the Matadors the top seed in the league tourney, the Aggies the second slot and the Anteaters the third position.
