Cannon, Eastman Earn Weekly Baseball Honors
Connor Cannon homered in three consecutive games, while Colton Eastman threw the fifth no-hitter in Cal State Fullerton history.

➜ UC Riverside sophomore Connor Cannon earned his first career Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week honors after accounting for half his team’s offense over four games.
➜ As the designated hitter, Cannon batted .467 (7-for-15) with six runs scored and 10 RBIs. The Highlanders scored 32 runs as a club en route to a 2-2 week.
➜ Cannon blasted a home run in three consecutive games for the first time in his career. He hit a solo shot against Fresno State, and a pair of three-run fingers in games one and two against UC Davis.
➜ In a 16-10 win over the Aggies, Cannon finished 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs scored and five RBIs.
➜ Cannon notched his fifth extra base hit of the week, another double, in the series finale against UC Davis. He had a 1.200 slugging percentage over the four games.
➜ Cannon had at least one hit and one RBI in all four games. He also walked three times on his way to a .556 on base percentage.

➜ Cal State Fullerton junior Colton Eastman tossed the fifth no-hitter in school history to garner his third career Big West Baseball Pitcher of the Week award.
➜ The right-hander allowed just one walk and struck out seven as he went the full nine innings in a 3-0 win over UC Santa Barbara.
➜ Eastman’s no-no is the 17th in Division I baseball this year, which already breaks the all-time record for no-hitters in a single season set in 2013. Coincidentally, Eastman wears No. 17.
➜ Eastman joined Longo Garcia (1987), Ted Silva (1995), Kirk Saarloos (2001) and Justin Garza (2014) in the Titan no-hitter club. Eastman was the first among that five to throw the no-hitter on the road.
➜ He lowered his ERA to 2.47, which ranks No. 4 in the Big West.
