Two first-time winners joined CSUN senior Arvis Greene atop the men's volleyball awards platform this week.
ARVIS GREENE, CSUN – PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior • Opposite • Los Angeles, Calif. • University HS
➜ CSUN senior Arvis Greene collected his second Big West Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week after averaging 4.33 kills and 0.83 digs per set in a pair of non-conference wins.
➜ The 6-foot-7 opposite hit a combined .447 (26-5-47) in three-set home victories against George Mason and Harvard.
➜ Greene tallied 14 kills on .500 hitting against George Mason, adding an assist and two digs.
➜ In the win over Harvard, he had 12 kills while swinging at a .391 clip. He chipped in three digs, two block solos and an ace.

CONNOR DRAKE, UC SANTA BARBARA – DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

➜ UC Santa Barbara junior Connor Drake earned his first career Big West Men’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week honor as he impacted a pair of nonconference wins.
➜ The 6-foot-8 middle blocker averaged 1.50 blocks and 0.67 digs per game to help the Gauchos sweep Fort Wayne and Ball State at home.
➜ Drake had six block assists in the Fort Wayne victory. He also contributed offensively with 10 kills and just three errors in 19 attempts for a .368 hitting percentage.
➜ Against Ball State, he tallied three block assists to go along with five kills on .500 hitting. He hit .407 (15-4-27) for the week.

WYATT HARRISON, UC SAN DIEGO – FRESHMAN PLAYER OF THE WEEK

➜ UC San Diego outside hitter Wyatt Harrison secured his first career Big West Men’s Volleyball Freshman Player of the Week accolade after producing two double-figure kill matches in a 1-1 split.
➜ Harrison clubbed 22 kills on .474 hitting as he committed just four errors in 38 swings.
➜ Harrison notched 12 kills, four digs and a block assist in a four-set win over USC. He hit .435 (12-2-23) for the match.
➜ He shared the team high of 10 kills, on .533 hitting (10-2-15), in a four-set loss at Stanford. Harrison added a season-high tying three aces and three digs. He was a perfect 1.000 (9-0-9) through three sets.
