WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

UC Irvine junior Morgan Green averaged 27.5 points over two games to capture her second Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award.
➜ The 5-foot-7 guard scored a season-high 32 points in a 78-58 win versus Cal State Fullerton. She shot 11-of-27 from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 at the free throw line.
➜ Green added five rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block against the Titans.
➜ She had 23 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals in a 71-67 loss at CSUN.
➜ It was her fourth 30-point effort and her ninth and 10th 20-point games of the season.
➜ Green tied her season high with six three-pointers made against the Matadors.
➜ In addition to her scoring prowess, Green averaged 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game in an all-around productive week.
➜ Her efforts helped the ‘Eaters clinch the No. 3 seed at the Big West Tournament, their highest finish since 2012.
