DYNN LEAUPEPE, CAL POLY
Senior • Guard • Camarillo, Calif. • Camarillo HS
➜ Leaupepe’s 40 points is tied for No. 6 nationally for highest total in a Division I game this season. It is the first 40-point game by a Mustang since Dec. 21, 2011 – when Kristina Santiago netted 44 against San Diego State. The school record of 46 was set in 1982 by Laura Buehning.
➜ The 5-9 guard drained 12 of 19 floor shoots, including three treys, and went 13 of 16 at the free throw line to keep the Mustangs in the game, and help overcome a 13-point fourth quarter deficit. That was Cal Poly’s largest comeback win since Nov. 23, 2014.
