BIG WEST AT A GLANCE
THRIVE AT FIVE
After UH took down No. 2 Pepperdine 4-1 last week at home, the Rainbow Wahine moved up a slot in the national poll and are tied with fellow league-foe, Long Beach State at the No. 5 spot. LBSU owns a slight advantage at 23-5 overall while UH is 21-5 in 2017. The Sandbows will host Saint Mary’s who is receiving votes in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll. The 49ers next take the sand on April 20.
Sacramento State and CSUN have full slates this weekend as the Hornets play five matches this weekend while the Matadors have four on deck. SAC looks to make it back-to-back wins after defeating Boise State last Friday. The Hornets longest win-streak this season is three matches as SAC opened the season with consecutive Ws. The Matadors look to turn around a three-match losing streak.
