The Pacific Coast Intercollegiate and Beach Invitational (Long Beach), Mt. SAC Relays (Torrance) and Bryan Clay Invitational (Azusa) are drawing the majority of Big West track and field student-athlete participation this week.

BIG WEST AT A GLANCE

So Cal Becomes Hub For Track And Field Meets:
All nine Big West schools participate in meets this week with most of the action central to the southern California area.  Several schools are competing in the Mt. SAC Relays, Bryan Clay Invitational and the California Invitational Combined Events.  Long Beach State hosts a pair of meets in the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate and Beach Invitational.  CSUN is the one outlier, traveling to the Lone Star State to battle at the Texas Invitational in Austin.

Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Features Top Notch Competition: The Long Beach State track and field team hosts the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate at Jack Rose Track on Thursday.  The meet features some of the top teams in the country including No. 4 Alabama (men)/No. 18 Alabama (women), No. 4 USC (women)/No. 11 USC (men), No. 13 Washington (women), No. 18 UCLA (men) and No. 25 Colorado State (men).  The Long Beach State men are the highest ranked squad in the Big West, sitting 64th out of nearly 200 Division I schools.  The Beach men just came off a solid performance at last week’s Big West Challenge, in which they won the meet for the 10th year in a row.
