UC Riverside junior Annelise Ito (Moraga, Calif./Campolindo HS) turned in back-to-back career-high 24-point efforts to close out the regular season in garnering Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week accolades.

She posted her first 24-point performance in a 61-56 win against UC Davis.  The 5-11 guard made 11 of 19 floor shots and yanked down a game-high eight rebounds while playing all 40 minutes.

In a 76-66 loss to Long Beach State, Ito scored her 24 points on 11-of-18 shooting and just missed recording a double-double with nine rebounds.  She added four assists, two steals and a blocked shot to her stat line.

For the week, Ito shot 59.5 percent (22-of-37) from the floor and made all four of free throw attempts.  She also averaged 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

Ito ranks fourth in the Big West with 7.4 rebounds per game and sixth in scoring at 13.9.
