CSUN EXTENDS WIN-STREAK
Cal State Northridge picked up another two victories last week to extend its longest win-streak of the season to six games. The Matadors faced unranked Azusa Pacific and Claremont and will take on Cal Lutheran, Hartwick and Concordia before starting conference play. CSUN has matched its 2012 season-best win-streak and looks to compete with its seven-game string of victories from March 16-April 9 in 2011. 49ERS FLIRTING WITH FATE
Long Beach State has compiled a nine-game undefeated streak and looks to continue its run this weekend. In addition to looking for their 10th-straight victory, the 49ers are looking to upset No. 1 USC in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Saturday. USC currently owns a perfect 15-0 record and has maintained its No. 1 ranking all nine weeks of the 2014 season, including in the preseason poll. RAINBOW WAHINE RETURN TO POOL
Hawai‘i will face Long Beach State in a non-conference matchup, Friday and will take on Indiana and USC, Saturday after a week hiatus. UC Irvine faces Brown Saturday while UC Santa Barbara goes head-to-gead with Harvard.
