Anna Kim (Fullerton, Calif./Brea Olinda HS) put up a career-high in points to lead Long Beach State to a home in over Denver in the 49ers' final tuneup prior to conference play.
Kim, a true freshman, poured in 22 points on 8-of-10 from the field, including a 4-for-5 effort from beyond the three point line. Her 17 first half points sparked LBSU to an 11-point halftime lead, while the eight field goals and four threes were both career highs. Kim, who's previous career-best was 16 points earlier in the season, also recorded three steals, two assists and knocked down two of her three free throw attempts in only 26 minutes.
