UC Irvine redshirt sophomore Marisa Bubica (San Pedro, Calif./San Pedro HS) claimed Big West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week accolades after leading the Anteaters in kills in victories over UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton.

Bubica averaged 4.86 kills, 1.14 digs and 0.57 service aces per set while hitting .267 (34-14-75) for the week.

She led all players with 19 kills and hit .325 (19-6-40) against the Highlanders in a four-set victory.  Against the Titans, she paced all players with 15 kills and sprinkled in six digs with three service aces for good measure.

The Anteaters recorded consecutive wins for the first time since Sept. 20.
