DAVIS SWEEPS HOME TOURNAMENT
Last week Davis hosted the Davis Challenge picking up it’s first two ranked opponent victories in a 4-0 weekend sweep going into this week’s competition. It was a team effort for the Aggies as senior All-American’s Carmen Eggert and Jessica Dunn led the pack with a combined 16 goals over the weekend, while Jillian Wilding occupied the net for the first time this season. A 2012 walk-on and third in line goalie, Wilding stepped up to the plate as Woods and Cameron were out due to injury collecting 35 saves and just 21 goals against in her 128 minutes of work.
Eggert garnered Big West player of the Week for her outstanding performance leading the team in goals (10), steals (7, tied), drawn exclusions (6) and field blocks (4). The Aggies travel to conference foe, UC Irvine for the Invitational this week, facing the Anteaters first thing Saturday to start tournament play.
CLIMBING IN NUMBERS

Klatt has been with the Big West since 2009 leading all current coaches in overall (93) and conference (17) wins. The 49ers will compete in the Indiana Tournament this week in an effort to help Coach Gavin achieve his milestone with a three game line-up.
