Seeley Leads Titans to 2-0 Week

D.J. Seeley (Stockton, Calif./California) averaged 19.0 points in a pair of Cal State Fullerton victories to garner his second career Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award.alt

The senior shot 59.1% (13 of 22) from the field and 88.9% (8 of 9) at the charity stripe as the Titans dispatched Idaho State (66-53) at home and Texas Southern (93-86) on the road.  Seeley also averaged 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists to help the Titans even their season record at 5-5.

Seeley eclipsed the 20-point plateau for the fourth time this season when he scored a game-high 27 points in 34 minutes against Texas Southern.  He knocked down 11 of 14 shots, including 3 of 4 from three-point land, and dished out seven assists against only one turnover in the road triumph.

In the win over the Bengals, the 6-4 guard tallied 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals to help CSF end a three-game losing streak.  Seeley has now reached double figures in points in all 10 games this season.
