The Cal Poly women's basketball team used a hot first half and held on for a 75-71 win over CSU Bakersfield in a non-conference game in Mott Gym on Sunday.

49er Women's Hoops Falls At Top-Ranked Stanford, 77-41

The Long Beach State women's basketball team faced a daunting challenge on Sunday, taking on top-ranked Stanford at Maples Pavilion. The 49ers fought hard, but the undefeated Cardinal proved to be every bit deserving of their No. 1 ranking as they came out on top, 77-41.
