On senior night at the Stan Sheriff Center, the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team completed a perfect Big West Conference record with a 25-17, 25-17, 25-23 sweep of UC Riverside.
Holly Franks Tallies 12 Kills in Sweep of UC Irvine
Junior Holly Franks recorded a match-high 12 kills in leading the Cal Poly volleyball team to a three set sweep over visiting UC Irvine Friday night at Mott Gym.
An ace by Libby Fontanilla opened up a two-point lead for the 49ers at 13-11 in the final set, and a solo block by Tiara Wallace sealed an amazing comeback as Long Beach State back from being down two sets to none to claim a 21-25, 26-28, 25-20, 26-24, 15-13 win on the road at UC Santa Barbara.
