Files associated with this release:

Both Cal Poly and Cal State Fullerton went 2-0 last week against league opponents, with both pair of matches requiring extra minutes to determine a winner.

With a 4-0 start this season, Cal Poly (4-0-0) is one win away from tying their best conference start back in 2002, going 5-0.  Cal Poly pulled out two big wins last week, first against 2011 regular-season champions UC Irvine (2-1 OT) and second against 2011 Big West Tournament Champions, Long Beach State in a 4-3 (2OT) win.
Fullerton (3-1-0) won it’s first match last week against Cal State Northridge just 58 seconds into the first overtime period.  JeAnne Mazeau took a pass from younger sister, Erica, for the game-winning goal.  Fullerton went on to play a double-overtime match against Hawai’i to come out on top, 1-0 with little sister Erica scoring the game-winning goal.
Watch List
Long Beach State’s senior Nadia Link is within reach of both school and conference career records in her final season.  Link has a total 30 career goals thus far, ranking her third in the 49er all-time record book and just five goals shy of breaking into the Big West career top-10 list.  Link has 19 assist overall, just two shy of the top-10 and with a total 79-career points, she is just 10 points shy to be in the record book.

Cal State Northridge goalkeeper, Cynthia Jacobo has recorded 253 saves over her career, just 10 shy of Big West top-ten recognition and 21 shutouts, placing her tenth in Big-West all-time career shutouts. Jacobo already sat in the ninth spot for overall career goalie minutes, now moved up to seventh with a total 5,282 career minutes in the goal.
