Emily Hartong had a match-high 20 kills, Ashley Kastl added 11 kills and 10 digs and the No. 8 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team topped Cal Poly in four sets (25-15, 25-17, 17-25, 25-19) on Friday night at Mott Gym.

Hitting the road after a brief stay at home, the Pacific women's volleyball team reestablished themselves as one of the top team in the Big West as the Tigers dismantled UC Irvine, 3-0, on Friday, October 5. The win for the Tigers improved their record to 15-2 overall and 3-1 in the Big West while the Anteaters fell to 8-10 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
Freshman libero Taylor Formico had 18 digs - overtaking the UCSB freshman dig record - to lead the Gauchos to victory over the visiting Cal St. Northridge Matadors on Friday night. Nearly every UCSB starter made a significant contribution as the Gauchos swept in just over an hour and a half, 25-23, 25-22, 25-16.
