Cal State Northridge had its season-long, four-match win streak snapped as the host San Francisco Dons handed the Matadors a 25-18, 25-21, 25-18 loss in the championship match of the Asics Coca-Cola Challenge at War Memorial Gym.
The Gauchos were able to eke out a 1-2 record in the Sheraton Hotel/Comcast Lobo Invitational after splitting their final two matches on Saturday, defeating Georgia Southern and falling to the University of New Mexico. Overall, the Gauchos now sit at 6-5.
