Top Performances
Six Big West representatives continue to hold winning records over .500 as we edge into the fourth week of play. UC Davis remains undefeated with a 3-1 victory verses San Jose State this weekend.  Close behind is Long Beach, recording its first loss of the season this past week, but came back with a big 2-1 win over Michigan in the 90’.

Mauricio Reaches Milestone
Long Beach State head coach Mauricio Ingrassia broke his 100-win plateau this week with a 2-1 victory in the 90’ over Michigan.  Ingrassia holds a career record of 100-55-17, the all-time winningest coach in program history.  Last season he led the 49ers to their appearance in the Elite Eight, after capturing their second consecutive conference title.  The 49ers continue to be ranked among the top 25 in the NSCAA polls, with their outstanding preseason performance (4-1-0).
