Long Beach State fired a 3-under-par 281 in Friday's second round of the NCAA Athens Regional to move up in the standings and finish the day in a three-way tie for seventh place at the University of Georgia Golf Course.

Jonny Baxter shot a 2-under 68, tying a career-low mark, and is tied for 17th place as the UC Davis men's golf team shot a collective 283 to finish even in the second round of action on Friday at the NCAA Div. I Stanford Regional at the Stanford Golf Course.

Edfort Ends Day Two Of The NCAA Regionals With A 71
For the second straight day at the NCAA Regionals, junior Alex Edfort struggled with his consistency as he shot a +1, 71 on Friday, May 18. Cominbed with his 72 from the first day, Edfort ended the first two days of action at +3 and in a tie for 47th. The juinor finds himself 12 strokes off the lead with 18 holes to play after Cal's Michael Kim shot a -6 on day two to post a -9, 131 at the top of the leaderboard.
