Carrasco's 3-run home run sparks 49ers to NCAA Tournament bid

Sarah Carrasco turned a frustrating season into one to remember with one swing of the bat on Saturday at the 49er Softball Complex.
The 49er sophomore blasted a three-run home run to spark Long Beach State to a 4-2 win over Pacific and in the process help LBSU clinch the Big West Conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Gauchos Complete Series Sweep, Finish Second in League
UC Santa Barbara finished its season by completing a series sweep of Cal State Northridge with a 4-1 victory at Matador Diamond on Saturday afternoon.
Kylie Fan had three hits, two RBIs and a run scored to help the UC Davis softball team score four runs in the final three innings and hang on for a 5-3 victory over Cal State Fullerton in the season finale on Saturday at Anderson Field.

Softball Closes Out Season With 2-1 Victory At Cal Poly
The UC Riverside softball team closed out the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a 2-1 Big West Conference victory at Cal Poly.
