Tatusko Makes Key Stops In Upset Win To Capture Women's Water Polo Weekly Award

Senior Rachel Tatusko made 12 saves in an upset win over No. 8 San Jose State to give the UC Davis senior Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week accolades.

Tatusko, normally the No. 2 goalkeeper for the Aggies, got the start on Senior Day and did not disappoint.  She blocked three shots on Spartan 6-on-5 attempts in the second half, and finished with a career high in saves against a nationally ranked team.  Her actual career-high was 15 saves against Sonoma State on Mar. 10.

It also followed up the 10-save performance Tatusko had against Cal State Northridge in the Big West regular season finale on Apr. 15.
