Long Beach State got a pair of complete game wins from Taylor Petty and Erin Jones-Wesley as the 49ers swept a Big West Conference doubleheader from Cal Poly, 3-1 and 4-2, Friday at the 49er softball Complex.

Pacific Back To Form With A Two Game Sweep Of UC Riverside

Finding the championship form that eluded them a week prior, the Pacific softball team put together back-to-back stellar efforts to take the opening doubleheader from UC Riverside on Friday, April 6.  The Tigers took game one 3-2 with a late inning rally before dominating game two, 9-1, in five innings.  The wins moved the Tigers to 23-13 overall and 3-2 in the Big West while the Highlanders fell to 18-19 on the year and 1-4 in conference action.

Aggies Sweep A Pair Of Eight Inning Games At CSUN

Justine Vela and Jessica Thweatt each posted eight-inning complete game shutouts with 10 strikeouts apiece, helping the UC Davis softball team take 1-0 and 2-0 wins in a doubleheader sweep over Cal State Northridge on Friday at Matador Diamond.

Titans Split Pair of One-Run Duels

The Cal State Fullerton softball team opened the home portion of its conference schedule with a pair of one-run duels, rallying to sink visiting UC Santa Barbara, 2-1, in the opener before watching the Gauchos rally for two in the seventh for a 5-4 win in the nightcap on Friday night at Anderson Family Field.
