The UC Santa Barbara women's volleyball team continued its push for a postseason berth, winning its seventh straight match with a 25-23, 22-25, 26-24, 25-19 victory over San Diego State on Friday night in the Turkey Time Tournament.

For the second night in a row, Janisa Johnson provided a spark as No. 23 Long Beach State recovered from a slow start to defeat the MAC Champions, Central Michigan, 19-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-19. Johnson led the 49ers with 14 kills and added eight digs and five blocks, including two solo blocks.

Tigers Close Out 2011 With A Bang, Winning 3-0 Over Seattle

Closing out their 2011 season at home on Friday, November 25, the Pacific women's volleyball team went out with a bang as they swept Seattle University to finish 18-12 on the year. The Tigers were led by their senior Samantha Misa, who tallied a match-high 12 kills while hitting .333 as Pacific finished their season with a win for the second-straight season.
