Senior Caitlin Ledoux had a tremendous weekend, posting a double-double in two road matches as Long Beach State secured both the Big West Championship and a 25th consecutive NCAA appearance, earning her Big West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week honors for the first time this season.
In Friday's match versus Pacific, the Phelan, Calif., native led all hitters with 12 kills on the evening, hitting .346 while making 11 digs in a three-set win.
The next night at UC Davis, Ledoux topped herself, reaching 20 kills for the second time on the season and hitting over .300 again with another double-double. With 20 kills and 16 digs, Ledoux had her seventh double-double of the season and led the 49ers past the Aggies, 3-1.
For the weekend, Ledoux averaged 4.57 kills per set, 3.86 digs per set, and hit .316 for the 49ers.
