An explosive weekend by Jennifer Keddy, which included a career-best performance, lifted Cal Poly to a 2-0 record and earned her Cal Poly's first Big West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week honor this season.

The Mustangs improved to 2-2 in Big West play after sweeping both UC Davis and Pacific at Mott Gym. In Fridays victory, Keddy led the team in kills with 16, while recording nine digs and three total blocks. She also hit an impressive .519, a number she would trump the following night.

In Saturday's matchup with the Tigers, the junior middle blocker fired a .541 hitting percentage while notching a career-high 21 kills. Keddy added eight digs and four total blocks to her nightly total.

She was near perfect over the weekend, committing just two errors against UC Davis and one against Pacific. The Missoula, Mont., native averaged 6.17 kills, 2.83 digs and 1.17 blocks per set, while posting a .531 hitting percentage.
