Devon Peltier (St. Thomas, Virgin Islands/Missouri-West Plains) was stellar in a pair of Cal State Fullerton conference road wins that secured a spot in the
ampm Big West Tournament and the Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award.
He averaged 24.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists as the Titans toppled Pacific (82-80) and UC Davis (87-82) to claim the No. 6 seed in the tournament. Peltier hit 11 three-pointers in 21 attempts and made 14 of 25 (56.0%) overall to pace Cal State Fullerton.
Peltier scored 23 points and drained 6 of 8 threes in CSF's narrow win at Pacific on Thursday. He added four assists to his total.
Against UC Davis, the senior recorded 25 points and three rebounds, canning an additional five treys to ensure the five-point win. In that game, Peltier hit a bucket with 3:35 to play that put Fullerton ahead for good and he went 4-for-4 down the stretch to ice the victory.
Peltier shot 52.4% (11 of 21) from three-point range and made 90.0% (9 of 10) at the free throw line for the week.
