A total of 36 Big West student-athletes earned recognition on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic rolls for their excellence in the classroom.

The honor roll included three levels of classification in terms of overall grade point average: Outstanding (3.71-4.00 GPA), Superior (3.41-3.70) and Excellent (3.20-3.40).

Cal State Northridge led all Big West schools with 10 ACWPC All-Academic recipients, followed by UC Davis with eight.  Six student-athletes apiece were honored from Long Beach State and UC Irvine.  Pacific had four and UC Santa Barbara two on the honor roll, respectively.

The Matadors tied for 11th nationally with an overall team GPA of 3.270.  UCD ranked 17th in the nation with a 3.170 team GPA and Pacific was 26th at 3.060.
