1. ‘Eaters Take Big West Men’s Soccer Crown With Last-Second Goal
UC Irvine secured its fifth Big West regular season title with a goal with two seconds left in double overtime dropping Cal Poly, 3-2, Sunday evening at Spanos Stadium. Full Story
2. No. 12 Mustangs Beat 49ers 3-1, Off to Best Start in Program History
Senior Adlee Van Winden and junior Torrey Van Winden both recorded double-doubles as the Cal Poly volleyball team took down Long Beach State Saturday 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 25-16, 25-16) for its 18th win in a row. With the win, the Mustangs (19-1, 9-0 BWC) are off to the best start in program history, surpassing the 1985 team that began 18-1. Full Story
3. Beach Drops UC Irvine On Record-Setting Night
The Black and Blue Rivalry featured the top two teams in the Big West entering Sunday, and the Beach prevailed 2-1 behind goals from freshman Sierra Castles as well as a record-setting winner from senior Ashley Gonzales. Full Story
4. CSF Women Ranked No. 13 In USTFCCCA Regional Rankings
Cal State Fullerton women’s cross country, fresh off a convincing victory at the UCR Highlander Invitational last Saturday, is now ranked No. 13 in the West Region of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches’ Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings. Full Story
5. Fullerton’s Floro, Turner And UC Riverside’s Kelly Set To Participate In 2018 World Classic
Former Titans Justin Turner and Dylan Floro are off to the World Series, as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 5-1 in game seven of the National League Championship Series, Saturday evening at Miller Park. Full Story
