1. Cal Poly Upsets No. 9 UCLA...Twice

For the second straight night, the Cal Poly volleyball team defeated No. 9 UCLA 3-1(17-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-23) Friday at Mott Athletics Center in front of a packed house. The No. 22 Mustangs (7-1) came back after losing the first set to win the next three and hand the Bruins (4-2) its second loss of the season. Full Story


2. LBSU Women's Soccer Ties School Record In 6-0 Win Over St. John’s

Long Beach State dominated both halves of play Friday against St. John’s, tying a school record with six goals scored while holding the Red Storm to just six shots in a shutout in a 6-0 victory at George Allen Field. Full Story


3. Aggies Men Debut At No. 17 In United Soccer Coaches Poll

An unbeaten start to the 2018 campaign as the UC Davis men’s soccer team in the polls for the first time in nearly a decade, entering the week ranked as the No. 17 team in the nation according to the latest United Soccer Coaches poll released on Sept. 3. Full Story

UC Riverside Women's Soccer Player Wong Highlighted in LA Times

atie Wong's big right foot helped her earn a soccer scholarship to UC Riverside after she scored more than two dozen goals in three seasons at Corona Santiago High. She has a bigger heart off the field, a philanthropic dynamo who has been a benefactor to Riverside and Orange County organizations as well as a supporter of her father, Stan, a Los Angeles police officer, and his colleagues.   Full Story
