➜ Gabe Levin earned his second career Big West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honor after leading the team in scoring in a pair of wins over CSUN (80-70) and UC Riverside (75-68).
➜ The 6-7 forward averaged 23.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 blocks over the two games, helping the Beach improve to 3-1 in Big West play and into a tie for second place.
➜ Levin established a career high with 29 points in the CSUN win. He made 10 of 15 floor shots and canned 9 of 10 at the foul line.
➜ Levin added nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and a blocked shot against the Matadors in 35 minutes of play.
➜ He had 18 points at UC Riverside, marking the ninth time this year he has led or tied for the team lead in scoring.
➜ Chipped in eight rebounds, an assist, two steals and two blocks versus the Highlanders in 32 minutes. His eight boards helped the Beach outrebound UCR by a wide margin of 54-30.
