1. Henkle Sets PR, Leads UCSB To Team Title
Senior Jenna Hinkle would take the reigns once again for the ladies, shadowing the lead group for the first two miles and making a solid bid for home shortly after. Hinkle would not be contested after her break from the pack, taking the win convincingly with a five kilometer time of 16:48.0, which was a personal best. Full Story
2. ESPN3 Basketball Schedule Features 32 Big West Games
Big West Commissioner Dennis Farrell today announced that ESPN3 will feature a minimum of 32 men’s and women’s basketball games during the 2017-18 season. The package will include a minimum of 17 men’s games and 10 women’s games. Five additional ESPN3 “Wild Card” matchups will not be determined until approximately 2-3 weeks in advance of the game date. The five Wild Card dates are January 20, February 3, February 8, February 10 and February 21. Full Story
3. UC Irvine Unstoppable On Home Court
With a decisive 3-0 win over UC Riverside Saturday evening, the UC Irvine women’s volleyball team improved to 7-0 at home this season. That is a vast improvement from the Anteaters’ 5-6 mark a year ago. Full Story

4. Former Titan Blasts Walk-Off Homer To Give Dodgers A Win
John Lackey was behind 1–0 on Justin Turner with Yasiel Puig on second base and Chris Taylor was on first. The score was tied 1–1 with two out in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 2 of the National League Championship Series Sunday night at Dodger Stadium. Lackey threw a fastball to Justin Turner who swung and connected. Full Story
5. CSUN’s Frangipane Representing The Big West At SAAC
CSUN men’s golf team member Sevian Frangipane represented the Big West Conference at the national SAAC meetings in Chicago and took over the league’s Snapchat for the day.
