BIG WEST AT A GLANCE

JUNIORS LEAD

With 54 goals a piece, UC Davis’ Greta Kohlmoos and CSUN’s Madeline Sanchez pace the Big West with scores on the year. Both juniors, Kohlmoos has played in 27 matches while Sanchez has seen 23. Rounding out the top-five in the category is Paige Virgil (52) of UC Davis, Katelyn Fairchild (43) of CSUN and tied for fifth are Mary Brooks and McKenna Mitchell of UC Irvine (40). All are juniors except Mitchell.

BIG GAME FOR ’BOWS

In a big showdown this week, Hawai‘i will host No. 3 UCLA for a top-10 clash on the island. A win would mark the Rainbow Wahine’s second victory over a top-10 program this season. The ’Bows previously defeated No. 6 UC Irvine 9-8 on Feb. 4.

CONFERENCE PLAY CONTINUES
This week’s slate features two conference matchups as UC Santa Barbara travels to Hawai‘i Thursday before CSUN hosts UC Irvine, Saturday.  This will be the first time the team meet in 2017.

BIG WEST TOURNEY COUNTDOWN
In just four weeks, the Big West will gather in Davis, Calif. for the conference tournament at which the winner will claim the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
