No. 2 Long Beach State, No. 4 UC Santa Barbara Set To Square Off In Tournament Final

2017 Big West Women's Basketball Tournament Central


Fourth-seeded UC Santa Barbara upset regular season conference champion and top-seeded UC Davis, 73-79, and No. 2 Long Beach State narrowly squeaked by No. 3 CSUN, 61-60 in the semifinals on the 2017 Big West Women's Basketball Championship at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.  The two teams will battle for the tournament title and a trip to the Big Dance Saturday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m. on FOX Prime Ticket.

Long Beach State Sneaks Past CSUN, 61-60, To Advance To Tournament Title



The 49ers of Long Beach State are headed to the finals of the 2017 Big West Conference Women's Basketball Tournament after narrowly beating CSUN, 61-60, in the second semifinal showdown of the day at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Raven Benton drained a game-high 22 points while grabbing five rebounds.  More to come...
