CONFERENCE PLAY COMMENCES

Big West teams go head-to-head starting this weekend as conference play kicks off with a No. 8 Hawai‘i at No. 6 UC Irvine showdown Friday. Both programs have received a top-10 ranking in the national poll (Collegiate Water Polo Association).  No. 10 UC Santa Barbara will travel to No. 14 UC Davis Saturday, before Hawai‘i heads to No. 15 Long Beach State to wrap up the first weekend of conference matches.

KOHLMOOS COMES THROUGH
UC Davis junior Greta Kohlmoos tallied a team-high 14 goals in four games, including a career-high 6-score performance versus No. 18 Hartwick. The junior also netted the game-winner to clinch a 16-15 thriller over the Hawks at the Wolverine Invitational.  The Aggies moved to 11-13 on the season and take a two-game win-streak into its first conference showdown at home.

SHORE THE SHOW-STOPPER

UC Santa Barbara senior Taylor Shore had a weekend after recording 10 scores in three games with three hat tricks to help the Gauchos to a 3-0 weekend.
