After tying his career-high 34 points, Hawai‘i senior Noah Allen (Pacific Grove, Calif./UCLA) captured the Big West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award.
The senior added eight rebounds and two steals in the 76-72 win at CSUN and shot 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from beyond the arc. His efforts helped UH win its third straight, including Hawaii’s first two road wins on the year, to elevate the ’Bows to 5-4 in league play and 11-11 overall.
The 6-7 guard/forward averaged 20.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in UH’s road sweep, shooting 56.0 percent (14-of-25) from the field and 80.0 percent (8-10) at the foul line.
The guard/forward currently leads the Big West with 18.4 points per game in conference play. This is Allen's second weekly award this season.
