CSUN junior Taylor Glover earned national acclaim Wednesday as she was named third team NFCA All-American, the lone Big West player to be honored.
Glover was slotted in the third team as an at large outfielder, the first Matador since to land on an All-American list since Christen Bedwell was also a third-teamer in 2004. This is also the third postseason honor of 2016 for Glover as she was also named first team All-Big West as well as first team All-West Region.
Glover was the leader of one the top offenses in the Big West, ranking second in the league in batting average (.429), second in hits (78), sixth in runs scored (39), four in triples (3), fifth in on-base percentage (.454) and seventh in doubles (11). She collected two four-hit games this season and ranks 10th in Big West history with 14 triples.
