UC Davis With Big Upset In Big West

UC Davis snapped an eight-game UC Irvine win-streak when the Aggies clinched a 6-5 upset victory over the league-leading Anteaters.  Senior goalkeeper Jillian Wilding recorded 11 saves in the match while Elsie Fullerton notched a pair of goals on the offensive end.  The victory marked the program’s first win against a top five team since the Aggies claimed a 9-8 win over then No. 5 San Diego State at the 2008 NCAA Championship.  The Aggies move to 16-12 and 2-3 after defeating the defending regular season and tournament champion.
