
The UC Davis women's golf program and UC Irvine duo Luciane Lee and Michelle Park are set to compete in the 2013 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Regionals runs from May 9-11.
The four-time defending Big West Champion Aggies are seeded sixth in the central region and will compete at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla. UC Davis is in the NCAA Regional for the fifth time in six seasons at the Div. I level but are sent out of the west region for the first time.
Anteaters Lee and Park received at-large berths into the NCAA tournament and are slated to compete at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif., as part of the west regional. Park, who tied for seventh at the Big West Women's Golf Championship, owns a team-best 75.3 stroke average while Luciane Lee is second with a 76.0 mark.
Seventy-two teams and 18 individuals were selected for regional competition at three sites, which includes the east regional at Auburn University Club in Auburn, Ala.
Eight teams and two individuals from each regional move on to the national finals which are scheduled for May 21-24 at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga.
