Big West Cross Country Championships Recap

Men's Soccer

Plenty remains to be decided heading into the final week of the regular-season, with the North Division title and three spots in the Big West Tournament field still up for grabs.  Cal State Northridge has already sewn up the South Division title and will host second-place Cal State Fullerton Thursday night.  The Titans are looking to return to the Big West Tournament after a one-year abscence.

UC Davis is in the driver's seat in the North Division, and can clinch the title against Cal Poly Thursday.  They'll also have a shot against current second-place team and regional rival Sacramento State Saturday.  No matter what happens, the regular season will end with a bang, as included in the final day's schedule is the second matchup between Blue-Green rivals Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara.

For the fifth year, select matches will be broadcast on the BigWest.TV platform, including almost all matches from Cal State Fullerton and UC Santa Barbara.  Beginning this season, all BigWest.TV live content will stream FREE OF CHARGE.

Women's Soccer

It all came down to the final day of the season, with Cal State Fullerton claiming their first regular-season title and the top seed in the Big West Tournament.  The Titans will face the regular-season champs from the past two years and tournament host UC Irvine in the second semifinal Thursday.

Cal Poly and Cal State Northridge will open the tournament Thursday afternoon.  The Mustangs are back in the tournament for the first time since 2009, when they made their second consecutive championship match.  The Matadors are looking to make their first Big West championship final in their fourth-straight tournament appearance.

Both semifinal matches Thursday will air live via BigWest.TV, with Sunday's championship final being televised live for the first time ever on FOX Sports Prime Ticket as part of the new Big West-FOX Sports partnership
