Tigers Thump Cal State Fullerton For A Pair Of Wins

Breaking out their bats in a big way against Cal State Fullerton, the Pacific softball team took home a doubleheader sweep on Saturday, April 14.  In game one, Pacific won 7-2 in seven innings while game two ended early as the Tigers grabbed a 9-0, five inning, victory to end the day.

Pagano Lifts CSUN to 4-0 Shutout over Cal Poly

The Cal State Northridge softball team (8-29, 3-4 Big West) defeated Cal Poly 4-0 in a Big West Conference game Saturday afternoon at Bob Janssen Field. Mia Pagano tossed a two-hit shutout and added her first career home run, a grand slam, to lead the Matadors to the victory and snap a five-game losing streak.

Erin Jones-Wesley pitched a three-hit shutout in the second game of a doubleheader while picking up a save in game one to lead Long Beach State to a 4-2 and 3-0 sweep of UC Davis at La Rue Field on Saturday.

UC Santa Barbara ensured itself the series win against UC Riverside on Saturday as it swept a doubleheader at the Highlander's Amy S. Harrison Softball Field. The Gauchos posted a season-best in runs as they won the first game, 11-1, and then came from behind to take game two, 6-3.
