The spring sportsmanship team award winners for the sports of baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track, and women's water polo were announced today by Big West Conference Commissioner Dennis Farrell.

Long Beach State had the most teams honored with three, including men's golf, men's track and women's track.  UC Davis (baseball), Cal Poly (softball), UC Irvine (women's golf), UC Riverside (men's tennis), Cal State Northridge (women's tennis) and Pacific (women's water polo) rounded out the list of honorees.

The Sportsmanship Award is voted upon by the respective student-athletes in each of the Big West's 16 championship sports.  Winning teams are honored with commemorative tee shirts.
