Two Big West women's volleyball teams head to the NCAA Tournament while men's & women's basketball enters their second month of play this week.
Men's Basketball
Two non-conference home court win streaks 11 straight by Cal State Fullerton and nine in a row by UC Santa Barbara will be tested this week when the Titans host San Diego and the Gauchos entertain Loyola Marymount.
For the sixth year in a row, all home and conference games will be broadcast by the institutions on BigWest.TV, the conference's video streaming initiative in partnership with CBS College Sports.

Women's Basketball
At first glance, this week's schedule looks like Saint Mary's is a member of the Big West Conference as they face three conference schools. The Gaels open the week traveling to The Pavilion Wednesday evening to face UC Davis. Two days later Saint Mary's host UC Santa Barbara for a 7:00 p.m. tip. The trifecta ends on Sunday, Dec. 5 when the Pacific Tigers visit their northern California foe for a matinee. Last season UC Davis and Pacific both collected wins over the Gaels.
The holiday week may be over but the basketball tournaments are still going strong. Cal Poly and Long Beach State both leave the Golden State for tournament play this weekend. The Mustangs visit Tempe, Ariz., for the ASU Classic where they face host Arizona State and either Lamar of New Mexico State. Long Beach State heads south for the Gene Hackerman Invitational hosted by Rice. The 49ers battle Prairie View in first-game action and either Rice or Louisiana Monroe in the second contest.

The NCAA Tournament awaits 2010 Big West champs Cal State Fullerton and perennial tourney team Long Beach State this weekend. The Titans will head to Palo Alto, CA for their first-ever NCAA appearance to face Colorado State in the first round, while the 49ers make their 24th consecutive appearance in the field of 64, meeting San Diego in the first round at USC.
