Former UC Riverside baseball player Taylor Bills beat out ten other contestants Monday evening as he was named the winner of ABC's reality television show "True Beauty", taking home $100,000 and a photo in "People" magazine  (official website/wikipedia entry).

The show pretended to look for the "Face of Las Vegas" but was actually testing the contestants on their inner beauty through a series of hidden-camera challenges. Bills entered Monday's finale having passed eight of the 10 challenges, and needed to beat Erika Othen, an actress and model from Long Island, NY, and Craig Franczyk, a retail manager from Winnipeg, Canada to take home the grand prize.

The final test for the contestants was to entertain a celebrity in Las Vegas for the evening. The celeb turned out to be movie and television star Steve-O, best known for his stunts on the MTV show "Jackass."  But the true challenge came the following morning when the trio was taken straight from the dance floor to a shoot for a TV commercial. Tired and not feeling their best, all three managed to pass the challenge and advance to the finals.

The contestants were then given the key to the judges' spy room, where host Vanessa Minnillo revealed the true nature of the competition. Jaws dropped and heads sagged as footage of the finalists' bad behavior throughout the eight weeks rolled across the video screens.

Each contestant made their final plea to the judges, and Craig was the first to go, leaving Taylor and Erika. In true Las Vegas style, a giant slot machine was brought on set, revealing Taylor as the winner.
