The Pacific baseball team handed No. 13 Cal State Fullerton its biggest loss of the year and snapped the Titans' nine-game winning streak with an 18-10 pounding to salvage the final game of the series on Sunday, May 2. The 18 runs allowed by the Titans marks a season-high for an opponent in 2010.

Cal Poly Wins Wild Game for First Series Victory of Season, 16-15

Cal Poly let a two-run lead slip away in the ninth inning. Long Beach State let 13-11 and 15-13 advantage go for naught in extra innings. Finally, after four hours and 45 minutes of baseball, the Mustangs scored three runs in the bottom of the 11th inning on a wild pitch and two ground balls, one of them misplayed for an error, and rallied to beat the 49ers 16-15 on Sunday before 1,412 in Baggett Stadium.
