Aggies Defeat 49ers To Take Series

UC Davis defeated Long Beach State, 2-1, Sunday in the final game of a three-game Big West Conference softball series at La Rue Field. All three of the game's runs were unearned, and the Aggies were able to come from behind despite finishing with just two hits. The win also gave UC Davis (16-24, 5-3 Big West) a 2-1 series victory. Long Beach State fell to 20-20 overall and 4-5 in the conference.

Matadors Complete Series Sweep with 12-5 over Pacific

The Cal State Northridge softball team (21-20, 5-4 Big West) defeated Pacific, 12-5, Sunday to complete the series sweep. The Matadors pounded out a season-high 19 hits in the contest and scored 12 runs against the Tigers for the second-straight game.
