San Jose State scored two runs in the sixth inning which proved to be the difference as the Spartans defeated UC Davis, 5-4, Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference softball game at La Rue Field. The Aggies had overcome an early 2-0 deficit to take a one-run lead prior to SJSU's late rally. Jessica Gonzalez went 3-for-4 for UC Davis (9-19), and Heather Zimmerman went 2-for-3.

No. 14 Bears Too Much As Pacific Falls At Cal, 8-0 (5 inn.)

Traveling to Berkeley, Calif. to take on the No. 14 Cal Bears, the Pacific softball team could not get their offense going against the top-15 ranked team, falling 8-0 in five innings on Wednesday, March 24. The loss dropped the Tigers to 10-14 overall while the Bears improved to 24-6.
