Another Record Turnout For Big West ShootOut 2/25/2010 12:00:00 AM Share: Another Northern California tour stop, another record. The Big West Basketball ShootOut traveled to the University of the Pacific on Wednesday night and produced another record turnout. Ninety-Six (96) teams competed to be the campus champions, a 68 percent increase from the previous year. Campus champions will be crowned on Thursday during halftime of the Pacific/UC Riverside men’s basketball game with the opportunity to punch their ticket to Anaheim to compete for the $5,000 grand prize. Team Who Needs To Dunk with Ryan Randolph and Kim La will face Team Amy Derek with Amy and Derek. Team God’s Team with Marissa Woo and Nicole Hernandez won the women’s division while Team SituWan with Daniel Situ and Michael Wan won the men’s division.
