After taking a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday, three Big West teams are back in action in meets outside of the state of California.
UC Davis' clubs will head to the Lone Star State to take part in the Texas Invite hosted by the University of Texas in Austin. The annual meet attracts some of the top teams in the country for a three-day competition at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Aside from the host Longhorns, Auburn, Arizona and Wisconsin are among the teams in action, while west coast powers UCLA, California and Hawai’i will be competing in the diving events only.
UC Santa Barbara and Pacific will head to the Pacific Northwest as they both will compete in the U.S. Short Course Nationals in Federal Way, Wash. The Gauchos and Tigers will also be joined by some of the top swimmers in both the NCAA and Olympic ranks.
