Volleyball Picks Up First Win of 2009; Defeats Sac State 3-2
The UC Riverside volleyball team picked up their first win of the 2009 season on Saturday afternoon, outlasting the Sacramento State Hornets 3-2 in game two at the Sac State Invitational. UCR (1-4) won the first two sets 25-21 and 30-28 before Sac State (2-3) won the next two 25-20 and 25-21, forcing a decisive fifth set which the Highlanders won 15-11.
